Domestic Violence Resources – Wagoner County Sheriff’s Office

Domestic violence affects families across the nation — including here in Wagoner County. Even one case is too many.

You Are Not Alone

If you are the victim of domestic violence, you are not alone. According to the CDC, about 1 in 4 women and nearly 1 in 10 men have experienced contact sexual violence, physical violence, or stalking by an intimate partner.

Our deputies and staff work with community partners and victim advocates to provide support, safety planning, and resources with compassion and professionalism.

What Is Domestic Violence?

The U.S. Department of Justice defines domestic violence as a pattern of abusive behavior in any relationship used by one partner to gain or maintain power and control over another intimate partner.
