Wagoner County K-9 nets arrest in Toppers
 
On 02/14/2020 Wagoner County K-9 Deputy D. Watkins and Deputy D. Street were patrolling the Toppers area when I observed a Silver Pontiac G6 traveling commit a traffic violation. Upon making a traffic stop on the vehicle it was discovered that narcotics may be present. K-9 Deputy Watkins deployed his partner Bane to search for the presence of illegal narcotics. K-9 Bane alerted to the presence of narcotics in or around the vehicle.
 
Upon searching a passenger, identified as Kevin Henson, deputies located a small tin container and zip up pouch containing zip lock baggies which contained what appeared to be methamphetamine residue. He additionally had an electronic scale with residue on it, a glass pipe with suspected marijuana inside it, and a small zip lock baggie contacting a green leafy substance. Deputies then located a small baggie with a clear crystal rock substance resembling methamphetamine and a red straw with a white residue inside of the suspects wallet to which the suspect stated, "he forgot it was in there."
 
Deputies searched the vehicle and located 2 more zip lock bags containing a clear crystal substance between the middle console and passenger seat. The male passenger Kevin Henson advised all the narcotics inside the vehicle were his and no one else knew about them. The driver was given a warning for speeding a released. The passenger Kevin Henson was taken into custody and transported to the Wagoner County Detention Center. Upon entering the Detention Center, he attempted to conceal used syringes and was caught with them. The drugs located by deputies inside the vehicle and on the suspect totaled 11 grams of meth and 4 grams of marijuana.
 
He was charged with the following: Possession of controlled substance with intent to distribute - meth, Possession of controlled substance - Marijuana, Possession of Paraphernalia, Carry weapons, drugs, or alcohol into jail. He is currently being held with a 15,000 Bond.
