On 07-25-2024 at 0715 hours, Wagoner County Deputies A. Bond and L. Haley were dispatched to the area of 270 East Avenue and East 161st street South to investigate a stolen vehicle. The victim stated they had last seen their car the previous evening and when they woke up the next morning their car was gone. After deputies spoke with the victim, they entered the vehicle NCIC and canvased the area but were unable to locate the stolen vehicle in the area.

On 07-25-2024 at 1515 hours, Deputies Bond and Haley received information from dispatch advising that the Locust Grove Police Department had located the vehicle using FLOCK ALPR Camera’s. Locust Grove Police performed a traffic stop on the vehicle and took the occupants of the stolen vehicle into custody.

The occupants of the stolen vehicle were identified as Keely J. Corley and Joseph K. Corley of Coweta, Oklahoma. Keely J. Corley was charged with Possession of Stolen Vehicle. Joseph K. Corley was charged with Possession of Stolen Vehicle, Possession of C.D.S. without a Tax Stamp, and Carrying a Concealed Weapon. Both arrestees were transported to the Mayes County Detention Center and booked into same. Both arrestees were released from custody on 07-30-2024. The vehicle was recovered by a Locust Grove wrecker service.

Wagoner County Sheriff Chris Elliott stated “This is another perfect example of using technology as a force magnifier. Our deputies took the initial stolen vehicle report and had it quickly entered as a stolen vehicle. Within an 8-hour period, utilizing Flock Technology, Locust Grove Police were notified of the stolen vehicle in their jurisdiction and made 2 arrests as a result. That is why as the Wagoner County Sheriff I will continue to invest in this type of technology to better serve the citizens of Wagoner County.”
