Deputies arrest 2 on burglary charges in Yonkers area


On 05-14-2022 at 1645 hours Deputy M. Mcchristian and Lieutenant A. Hull were dispatched to the 35200 Block of East 655 Road in the Yonkers area to take a burglary report. Upon arrival they made contact with the victim that stated she had been gone for a few days and came home to discovered someone had kicked in her front door to their house. Numerous items had been taken from the residence.
The victim provided a detailed list of items that were stolen during the burglary and their estimated value. Deputies searched the area looking for evidence related to the burglary. As deputies were canvasing area, they discovered two old rundown campers near the residence on Corp of Engineer property. Lt. Hull and Deputy Mcchristian observed two individuals sitting behind a recreational camper next to a campfire.
Upon noticing numerous items laying around the area that were described earlier from the burglary, a male and female were detained for further investigation. The individuals were deemed suspects and were identified as Jason W. Guy of Claremore, OK and Kelley Stephens of Tulsa, OK. The items that were laying around in plain view were identified and belonged to the victim of the burglary. The Cherokee Nation Marshall's Service was called to the scene since the victim was a Cherokee Citizen and the male suspect was a Cherokee citizen. The Marshall Service arrived on scene and left a short time later. All items that were taken from the victim were located and returned to the victim. Gilbert's Wrecker service of Coweta was called to the scene to take possession of the RV camper and an investigative hold was placed on the camper for further investigation.
A short time later Deputy J. Lambert arrived on scene to transport the suspects to the Wagoner County Detention Center. Jason W. Guy was charged with 2nd Degree Burglary and Knowingly concealing stolen property. Kelley Stephens was charged with Knowingly Concealing Stolen Property as well as holding felony warrants out of Wagoner County and the State of Tennessee.
