Dane County Wisconsin Investigators charge Wagoner homicide suspect with additional charges
On 05-19-2021 Wagoner County Investigators were contacted by the Dane County Sheriff's Office (WI) in reference to Kore D Brommeli. It was discovered that additional charges were brought against her for a 2014 incident.
The information received stated that on or about March or April 2014 the suspect Kore D Bommeli was implicated in a burglary in Dane County Wisconsin. Upon Dane County Sheriff's Office Investigators completing their investigation, they discovered that the suspect had left white powder residue in numerous locations during the alleged burglary. Wisconsin Court Records show she pled guilty to charges stemming from the 2014 incident.
In July of 2020, Wagoner County Investigators contacted Dane County investigators in reference to a missing persons case. It was discovered that the victim from 2014 had some of the remaining white powder from the burglary that had occurred. The victim had the powder sent to Wagoner County Investigator D. Elliott for testing. Investigator Elliott contacted the FBI for assistance in testing the powder. Upon the FBI testing the substance it was discovered that the white powder was Ricin.
The information filed by Dane County Officials shows that upon receiving a positive test result for Ricin, the Wisconsin National Guard was contacted, and specialists were called to assist with collection of any further evidence. Wagoner County and Dane County investigators continued to work with the FBI and Arkansas State Police to collect evidence.
On 05-18-2021 Dane County Wisconsin Investigators received a Felony Warrant for Kore D Bommeli. The anticipated charges are 2 counts of attempted First Degree Intentional Homicide. She currently has a Warrant Hold from Dane County Sheriff's Office.
