Wagoner County Sheriff's Office Seeks to Identify Theft Suspect
On 03-04-20201 Wagoner County Deputies were called to take a report of burglary from vehicle in the 21100 block of E. 40th St. S. in Broken Arrow, which occurred at approximately 0400 hours on the morning of 03-04-2021. The suspect is alleged to have broken into the toolbox on the back of the victim's truck, stealing multiple power tools and other miscellaneous items the victim needs for his employment. The suspect then is seen running back to his vehicle, where he stores some of the stolen tools, then returns to the victim's truck to take more property and runs back to his vehicle a second time with tools in hand and drives from the scene.
Surveillance video from near the scene shows the vehicle, a Jeep Grand Cherokee, possibly 2005-2010-year model, silver or gray in color, with black (possibly aftermarket) wheels. Because of the distance from the camera to the suspect, a detailed description of the suspect is not available, but the suspect does appear to be male with medium height and build.
