Law enforcement speaks with Pre-K class in Coweta
On 02-26-2021 Wagoner County Deputy J. Carey was invited by Coweta School Resource Officer J. Barnett to come and help speak with the Pre-K class at Coweta Southside Elementary. OHP Troopers J. Dooley and J. Ritze were also present to speak with the class. They spoke to the children and explained that "Some law enforcement officers wear different colored uniforms and wear different patches on our shoulders, but you can always come to any law enforcement officer and they will help you."
The kids had a wonderful time asking questions and speaking with the Officers. The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office would like to thank the Coweta Police Department and Officer Barnett for allowing us to be involved in speaking with the class and having a great time in the process. Additionally, we would also like to thank Coweta Southside Elementary School and their staff for allowing us to be a part of their school programs.
