Investigators searching for burglary suspects in Porter / Tullahassee / Redbird areas
On April 2, 2020 Wagoner County Deputy E. Patrick and Deputy B. Webb responded to the area of 201st and 237th in an attempt to locate a stolen 2017 Lark single axel utility trailer. The trailer was reported stolen out of Tulsa County valued at approximately $12,000. The value of the trailer did include the tools and equipment stored inside the trailer.
Upon contacting the victim, it was discovered that that the utility trailer was stolen from a job site located in Tulsa County. The trailer had been equipped with a GPS tracking device in the event of a theft. The GPS tracking device was pinging to an area in Wagoner County. Upon traveling to the last known pinged location, Wagoner County Deputies Patrick and B. Webb walked into an open field, locating the utility trailer in a wooded area.
Dispatch was able to contact the assessor's office to obtain information for the unknown property owner. Upon receiving additional information, Deputies attempted to make contact at a residence in the area to speak with the landowner about the stolen property. Upon arrival at the residence both deputies observed a Black Chevrolet Traverse in the driveway. The back-passenger door was open on the vehicle and upon checking the vehicle tag, it was discovered that the vehicle was stolen out of Claremore.
