Beware of Phone Scams

The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office works with many outside agencies that may call for donations from time to time.  As an example, the Sheriff's Office uses Law Enforcement Magnets to produce our yearly calendars.  Recently, Wagoner County E-911 dispatch has received calls from individuals and business in reference to these entities asking for donations.  The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office uses authorized law enforcement suppliers to do business with.  Anyone else is an un-authorized dealer and must be approved prior to doing business with them.

It was reported that a "First Lived Calendars" has been contacting individuals in Wagoner County.  The Wagoner County Sheriff's Office does not do business with "First Lived Calendars".  If you receive a call from this business, do not give them your information.  If you have questions or concerns about a phone call, hang up on them and call the Wagoner County Sheriff's Office at 918-485-3124.

It is important that YOU protect your personal identity like you would a bar of gold.  In 2019 the digital criminals are always developing advanced techniques to deprive you of your identity for use on the web.  You can also visit the Federal Trade Commission Complaint Website for additional information on possible scams.
